New antique center opens in Westfield

Westfield Village Antique Center in downtown Westfield officially marked its grand opening recently with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosted by the Westfield Barcelona Community Chamber of Commerce. That same day, the auction center held the first of many successful auctions to come. Pictured in the center, owners Laurie Wroda, cutting the ribbon, husband Jim Wroda; between them, son Matthew Wroda. Mixed in the in the crowd to support the business are John and Paula Trisket, who have helped in getting the business going as the Wrodas settled into their new location. Representing the Westfield Barcelona Community Chamber, members Jill Santi, coordinator; Darlene Golibersuch, president; Fred Johnson, vice president; and Rick Mascaro, board member. You will meet the resident dogs, Lizzie and Katie, when you visit Westfield Village Antique Center at 58 E. Main St. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
