KeyBank Foundation making hurricane donation

KeyBank Foundation will donate $100,000 to help families and communities affected by Tropical Storm Harvey and the devastating flooding in southeastern Texas.

The American Red Cross will receive a $50,000 donation to provide safe shelter and comfort for the hundreds of thousands of people impacted by this disaster, and the Houston Food Bank will receive a $50,000 grant to provide immediate food distribution to families most in need.

“Our hearts go out to the hundreds of thousands of people affected by what is being called the worst flooding disaster in U.S. history,” stated Margot Copeland, Chair & CEO of the KeyBank Foundation. “At Key, we are committed to helping communities in southeastern Texas get through this terrible time.”

In addition to the grant, all KeyBank employees across the company’s entire 15 state footprint have been notified that personal donations to the American Red Cross will be matched by the KeyBank Foundation.
