National Grid promotes staffer to regional manager

BUFFALO — Ken Kujawa has been promoted to the position of Western New York regional manager at National Grid. Kujawa manages a team that serves as primary contacts for the company’s largest customers and key stakeholders in a 10-county area that includes Western New York.

He also plays a prominent role within National Grid’s emergency response process. Kujawa joined the company in 1990 as a graduate intern, and most recently was customer and community manager, focusing his efforts on National Grid’s largest manufacturing customers in Erie and Niagara counties.

Kujawa sits on a number of boards, including the Western New York Advisory Group for New York Power Authority Hydropower Allocations, Buffalo Niagara Partnership, Invest Buffalo Niagara, Canisius College Wehle School of Business advisory council and Friends of Night People.

Kujawa, who lives in Orchard Park, earned his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Canisius College. He also earned a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University at Buffalo.
