Incubator offers entrepreneurial workshop: Leveraging Technology for the Modern Sales Team

The Fredonia Technology Incubator continues its Entrepreneurial Education Program with a workshop designed to provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to gain a better understanding of the tools and technologies that help companies build awareness, generate opportunities, and close new business. Leveraging Technology for the Modern Sales Team takes place this Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. in the Incubator’s Large Conference Room. This event is free and open to the public, guests are encouraged to a bring friend. Seating is limited, therefore registration is required. The workshop will be conducted by Sam Stein, vice president of engaged prospect. “Engaged Prospect is excited to be speaking at the Fredonia Technology Incubator. Understanding options for technology use to modernize a sales team is a great way to increase efficiency and grow your business,” said Stein. “We hope to add value for the entrepreneurs and all others in attendance.”

Engaged Prospect is a leading sales and marketing firm that works with small and medium businesses to build scalable and repeatable net new business sales campaigns. Stein, a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications with a bachelor’s degree in advertising management, Sam also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Syracuse University, as well as a master of arts in teaching graduate degree from Chatham University. Sam has continually exceeded sales goals as an individual producer, and now works to create and execute inside sales and lead generation marketing strategies for dozens of clients. Sam values the trust these clients give Engaged Prospect to achieve their paramount sales goals. Sam resides outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with his wife and three children. When time permits, he performs and teaches drums and percussion, a passion of his since childhood.

The Fredonia Technology Incubator promotes economic growth in Western New York by supporting entrepreneurship and the development of new, innovative companies into successful business ventures. The incubator provides administrative and business services, mentoring, networking, professional consulting, educational opportunities, and access to capital and work ready space. The Incubator is part of Fredonia’s Division of Advancement, Engagement and Economic Development (AEED) facilitates and supports university-community collaborations, and oversees the university’s StartUp NY economic development program.
