M&T Bank announces Jennifer Vahl, vice president and senior branch manager, has joined the team at M&T Bank’s at the 1 East Main St. branch in Fredonia.

In her new role, Vahl will be responsible for assisting local customers and businesses in reaching their short and long-term financial goals by understanding their unique needs and deliver personalized solutions. She is also responsible for directing the branch team in relationship management and administrative functions.

Vahl started with M&T in 2007 as branch manager of M&T’s Jamestown branch, later becoming M&T’s Mayville branch manager from 2009 to 2018. Prior to joining M&T, she worked for TOPS Friendly Markets.

“Jen was born and raised in the Southern Tier and is very involved in the community, serving the Fredonia Chamber of Commerce and Citizens for a Better Cassadaga,” said Christine Tarbrake, M&T Bank retail regional manager. “As Fredonia branch manager, she’ll be a solid force in serving our customers, the staff and the whole community.
