Brooks-TLC Hospital System announced it received a $40,000 donation from the Auxiliary of BMH. The donation is the result of funds raised at 2017-2018 golf tournaments, lobby sales and other fundraisers throughout the year.

According to Ken Morris, Brooks-TLC vice president of operations, “We are overjoyed with the hard work and generous gift from this dedicated group.” He added, “For over 100 years, the Auxiliary has consistently provided much-needed support for the benefit of our hospital and the community we serve — and for their efforts, we are grateful.”

This year’s contribution will be used to purchase several Workstations on Wheels, powered mobile computer carts that are a necessity for clinicians needing mobility and flexibility while charting. This equipment allows the clinician to be closest to the patient for accurate and immediate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record. The equipment will be used now and will also move with the hospital to its new location.

The consistent levels of care, support and energy of the Auxiliary provides for the vital, unrestricted dollars needed to avail our patients to the latest medical technology and equipment in a comfortable environment.
