SILVER CREEK — Have you ever looked out at the world from inside a bubble? Friday, Sept. 13 is your first chance.

Just My Imagination Workshop – Parties & More is an imagination inspired, kid powered, hands on creative play space geared toward children from crawlers through 11 years specializing in birthday parties. Children, and the adults that must accompany them, can explore, play, and learn in one of the many themed play stations. Stand inside a bubble, perform at the Imagination Theatre, create a musical rainstorm, serve sushi, build in the Construction Zone and so much more.

In a world driven by technology, this is a safe space, free of that distraction, to allow your children to use their imaginations to the fullest. In addition to birthday parties, JMIW offers open play times weekly, called “Play Parties,” on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and Friday evenings from 6-8 p.m. There are also Generation POUND and Family POUND classes, along with paint nights and other special events. There are often “Pop Up Play Parties” as well — these two hour time slots are announced through the Facebook page.

Admission is just $5 per child. The loving adults that must accompany them are free! There will be a special gift for the first 25 families. Special Play Pass Deals, coupons, treats and birthday party specials will all be available on this extended evening from 6-9 p.m.

After a soft opening earlier this summer to work out all the kinks, owner Shannon Aures Karcz thought September would be the perfect time to celebrate a grand opening. Shannon is a very vested member of the local community, having graduated from Silver Creek High School. She is the 13 year veteran director of the town of Sheridan’s youth recreation program, advisor to the SCHS Key Club, a 12 year producer with the Playground Drama Day Camp at SUNY Fredonia and the executive advisor for the SCCS PTSA. She is a certified POUND and Generation POUND Fitness Pro and absolutely loves providing a space for children to thrive as they use their imaginations.

Just My Imagination Workshop — Parties & More is located at 341 Central Ave. in Silver Creek, where they share a building with Guarcellos’ Plumbing and Heating; look for the colorful banners. The entrance is on the side of the building.
