Veterans, active service members invited to Entrepreneurial Networking Lunch

Fredonia Technology Incubator (FTI) welcomes veterans and active service members to an Entrepreneurial Networking Lunch.

The lunch will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fredonia Technology Incubator located at 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. This event is free and open to the public. The Veterans Entrepreneurial Network is an outreach program of the Incubator providing support for veteran entrepreneurship in Chautauqua County. The network provides veteran business owners or those looking to start a business the opportunity to network and discuss areas of assistance the Incubator can provide. The Incubator hosts monthly veteran meetings every fourth Wednesday of the month.

The guest speaker will be Leslie L. Arje, M.S., C.R.C. who is a rehabilitation counselor at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The topics of discussion at the lunch will be self-employment, entrepreneurship, resources for veterans, job placement resources, resume writing, preparing for interviews.

The Fredonia Technology Incubator is an economic development program of SUNY Fredonia. FTI promotes economic growth by supporting entrepreneurship and the development of new, innovative companies into successful business ventures. The incubator provides administrative and business services, mentoring, networking, professional consulting, educational opportunities, and access to capital and work ready space.
