Dunkirk plans Small Business Saturday event

Mayor Wilfred Rosas and the city of Dunkirk would like to invite everyone to support small businesses this holiday season at the annual Small Business Saturday event on Nov. 30, at the D&F Plaza.

In order to drive shoppers to “shop small,” the City of Dunkirk is hosting a pop-up shopping event to spotlight locally owned businesses and the impact they have on communities. The day will be a great opportunity to shop for holiday gifts from over 30 vendors while enjoying live music, coffee, doughnuts, Mary’s Deli Pizza, free raffle prizes, carriage rides by Crackerjack Farms, children’s activities, a visit from Santa Claus and more!

Afterward, the mayor invites everyone to City Hall for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5 p.m.

Small Business Saturday will take place on Saturday, Nov. 30 at the D&F Plaza from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Merchants and consumers can learn more about Small Business Saturday and how to get involved by visiting ShopSmall.com.
