The Chautauqua Center, a comprehensive high-quality patient centered health and support service center serving the Chautauqua region, wants to publicly thank Tim Hortons for their recent generous donation.

Owner Gina Kron and the Tim Hortons staff in Dunkirk were kind enough to donate coffee and donuts to the health care staff at the Center’s Dunkirk locations. The surprise treat was just what they needed, given all that’s going on with COVID-19 and the difficult work staff have been doing to make patients and community members feel safe and cared for.

The Chautauqua Center CEO Mike Pease said, “This was just awesome! We greatly appreciate Gina and the Tim Hortons family’s generosity especially because our employees have been missing the everyday routine of getting Tim Hortons before work.” Pease added, “This donation really helped boost staff morale and was a much-appreciated gift from our friends and partners in the community.”

The Chautauqua Center is open and is accepting new and existing patients into the office. Staff are also able to provide telehealth services allowing people to meet with a provider from the comfort of their home. For those who don’t have internet or the technology needed for telehealth, the Center can help provide resources and assistance. Services are for all ages and include primary care, counseling, substance abuse, family planning, and more. At this time only emergency dental services are available because of COVID-19. Patients of The Chautauqua Center also have access to pharmacy services including free home delivery and discounts for qualifying prescriptions.

With the work that The Chautauqua Center is doing, along with gestures of support like the one from Tim Hortons it is clear that we are all in this together. The Chautauqua Center has locations in Dunkirk and Jamestown and is open Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit tcchealth.org or call 484-4334.
