New practice opens Monday in Dunkirk

Dr. Christopher Saxton

Chautauqua Physical & Occupational Therapy is celebrating the latest expansion with its third location to serve the Dunkirk/Fredonia community.

The practice is founded and owned locally by Dr. Patrick E. Green along with his wife Susan Green. Together the pair established the practice in 1996.

“Our primary clinic is located inside the Riverwalk Center in downtown Jamestown and has developed into the premier provider of physical and occupational therapy outpatient services in Chautauqua county.” Green said.

In 2017, a second outpatient clinic was opened in Mayville and has far exceeded all expectations.

Mrs. Green, a pediatric occupational therapist and her team provide therapy services for motor development feeding skills and speech for babies and young children through the Early Intervention Program sponsored by Chautauqua County.

The Dunkirk location is to meet the demands of the under-served area. Dr. Christopher Saxton, a Bemus Point native and graduate of Slippery Rock University’s Physical Therapy program, is the clinic director. Zachary Waite is a graduate of Bryant & Stratton’s physical therapist assistant program. Both are licensed healthcare professionals with many years of experience serving those with all orthopedic pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation needs, vertigo, balance and strength training. In most cases, a prescription from a physician is not required.

The new clinic opens on Monday and is scheduling appointments at 363-2244. Hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.
