Fredonia Business Club starting golf tournament

The Fredonia Business Club Inc. will be hosting its inaugural golf tournament Saturday, Oct. 2 at Shorewood Country Club in Dunkirk. The tournament will be played in a scramble format with four-person teams, however, no teams are necessary and individual golfers are welcomed! Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. leading up to a shotgun start at noon with lunch being served at the turn.

Not only do we need golfers, and sponsors, but we also need raffle items and volunteers to help out at the course on the day of. If you are interested in donating any raffle items or volunteering, please let me know.

The Fredonia Business Club Inc. is a student-organized and operated 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization which was founded for the charitable purpose of providing students interested in business the opportunity to interact, participate in, and partner with business leaders and organizations in and around our community as a way to supplement their academic training with real-world business and community service experiences. Many students will be present and participating on the day of the event. The net proceeds from this event will be used for a number of charitable purposes; however, the majority will be dedicated to providing needs-based scholarships to SUNY at Fredonia School of Business students.
