Heritage Announces Corporate Director of Communications

GERRY — Melissa Anderson has been named the Heritage Ministries corporate director of communications.

Anderson, a native of Kennedy, is a graduate of Jamestown Business College, and most recently served as the marketing manager for the organization, beginning her career with Heritage in December 2016. Anderson lives in Frewsburg with her husband, Jason, and son Owen, and is actively involved in the dance and arts communities. She is also pursuing further education through Cornell University.

In her new role as corporate director of communications, Anderson will serve as the primary communications point of contact for the organization. She will oversee and develop new strategies to evaluate and continually improve internal and external communications processes, public relations, and media management and relations throughout Heritage senior living communities, nationwide.

“With Melissa’s experience in marketing and communications, and the senior care industry, including almost five years as an integral member of our Heritage team, she is uniquely qualified to serve our staff, residents, and their families,” said Lisa Haglund, Heritage Ministries president and CEO. “We look forward to the future, knowing that Melissa will continue to regard the health and safety of our residents and staff with absolute importance, ensuring transparent, clear, and direct communications from Heritage will strengthen our community relationships.
