Incubator Presents “Legal Advice for Start-ups” Workshop

DUNKIRK — As part of its Entrepreneurial Education Program, the Fredonia Technology Incubator will be hosting “Legal Advice for Startups” presented by F. Kenneth Graham, partner at Phillips Lytle LLP.

Graham’s presentation will focus on understanding corporate and intellectual property considerations when entering the U.S. market.

“The Entrepreneurial Education Program provides entrepreneurs with useful, hands on information and an opportunity to ask presenters questions,” said Chuck Cornell, incubator director. “High quality and interactive entrepreneurial workshops such as this are a key part of our services and programming we provide at the incubator.”

The event will take place in-person and via Zoom on Friday from noon to 1 p.m. The event is free to the public and guests are encouraged to register at www.eventbrite.com/e/legal-workshop-for-start-ups-tickets-207932741427. Graham focuses his practice in corporate law, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, international and domestic business transactions, and corporate governance issues. He also advises and provides counsel to not-for-profit and health care clients on compliance, corporate governance, and transactional issues. Additionally, Graham drafts and negotiates technology and intellectual property contracts, including license agreements, terms of use and privacy issues.
