Linda J. Harris

Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP (JMA) Partners Dave Mackowiak and Denise Veloski, have announced that Linda J. Harris, CPA has joined the JMA firm as partner.

At JMA, Harris will focus primarily on the tax aspects of the practice, which includes overseeing tax preparation and consultations regarding individuals, estates, corporations and partnerships. She has extensive experience in tax preparation and planning for individuals, estates, corporations and partnerships, having prepared returns for clients in more than 30 states and for international clients living abroad.

In addition to her CPA license, Harris holds an accounting degree from SUNY Fredonia and an MBA from St. Bonaventure University. Before joining JMA, Ms. Harris owned her own certified public accounting firm, Linda J. Harris, CPA. When she joined JMA, three of her private firm’s staff members also joined JMA with her. Prior to opening her own firm, Ms. Harris worked in the private sector as a senior accountant for a large manufacturing firm, after which she joined JMA (for the first time) when the firm was known as Coppings, Johnson, Mackowiak and Myott.

As an active member in her community, Harris is involved with several charities including 4-H, the M.S. Society and the Community Reinvestment Committee.
