Community Bank branches spread holiday cheer
The holidays are here, and along with the bustle of the season comes the time of year to give back — shoppers donate spare change, offices host food drives, and groups of family and friends come together to volunteer. Community Bank branches are getting in the festive spirit by giving back to the communities they serve to help all families have a happy holiday season.
“Giving back to our communities is our favorite tradition,” Community Bank Regional Manager Lisa Allenson said. “Our branches want to make the world a brighter place this holiday season, and we encourage everyone to get involved by supporting those who need it most.”
Specific local activities include:
¯ Westfield is supporting Union Relief.
¯ Gowanda is supporting the Holiday Toy Drive sponsored by the Gowanda Lions Club and Gowanda Police Department.
¯ Silver Creek collected toys for the Kiwanis club and is collecting coats for the United Way of Northern County.
