New business opens on Central Avenue

Mayor Wilfred Rosas and the Dunkirk Chamber of Commerce announced the opening of Leghicie Lashes, a new lash service storefront located at 427 Central Avenue. It is owned by Havden Klein. An official ribbon cutting was held on Wednesday to welcome this newly established business. Leghicie Lashes has been a longtime planned business that Klein has dreamed of opening. Accompanied by her boyfriend, Jason Lozada, and his uncle Marcus Buchanan, the ribbon cutting celebration was a well-deserved accomplishment and was well attended by family, friends and valued customers. The Mayville-Chautauqua Community Chamber Coordinator, Shannon Biekarck was there to facilitate this event and applauded another small business opening in the county. The business is decorated with pink and black balloons adorning a selfie station setup and offers all things lashes, ranging from lash sets to lifts and extensions, along with a flutter of facials, waxing and other stylish needs such as branded T-shirts. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and closed Sunday. For more information, call 716-490-5173.
