Business builder workshop: Marketing on a budget

The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce and the Gebbie Foundation are pleased to present a special marketing workshop for local businesses and organizations, Monday, June 26 at Northwest Arena, 319 West Third Street, Jamestown. Molly Haungs will be our special guest presenter for this Business Builder Workshop, with a focus on Marketing Your Business on a Budget.

Ms. Haungs has been the Marketing Manager at LandPro Equipment, LLC for 13 years. She currently oversees marketing, online sales and outreach. LandPro, a well-known John Deere dealership, has 20 stores in New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. She is a Buffalo State Public Communications graduate with 18 years of experience in Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, Event Planning, Communications and Business Development. She has worked in very large companies as well as small businesses, restaurants and banquet facilities.

Ms. Haungs presentation will focus on three things every business should know: social media and customer engagement best practices; content for your platforms specific for your business; and reaching your customers at all budgets.

This event will feature three components for the convenience of our presenter and our attendees. Ms. Haungs’ presentation will be from 1-2:30pm, with a break and networking opportunity from 2:30-3, followed by a direct question and answer session from 3-4 to focus on individual issues facing your business. Attendees are invited to attend all three sections or just come for those that meet your schedule.

When we talk with our local businesses one of their key concerns is always marketing. They may have a very limited budget, and in some cases they don’t really know where to begin. While we have helped to present some marketing sessions in the past, this one will allow local businesspeople to get into the weeds a bit with their specific issues.

You are invited to bring your questions and any problems unique to your business and Molly will offer ideas and suggestions. If you have a specific topic or question, you can enter it into the notes session during registration, which is open now through the Chamber’s web calendar at www.chautauquachamber.org.

Registration is required. Please register by June 21 to reserve your spot for this special free event. Light refreshments will be provided.
