County sales include $1.2M Bemus Point restaurant

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on June 30 in Bemus Point for Trattoria Partenope On The Lake, an Italian restaurant.

A popular restaurant in Bemus Point has been sold and is now an Italian restaurant.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from April 27-30. The county does not provide transaction information, but real estate documents are available for review at the clerk’s office.

During this time period 61 Lakeside Drive, Bemus Point was sold to Partenope 1, LLC of Ellicottville for $1.2 million.

This was the location of The Fish, a seafood and American cuisine eatery.

In April, Trattoria Partenope, an authentic Italian restaurant in Ellicottville, known for its homemade pastas, veal, steak and seafood, announced it had purchased the Bemus Point location. A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on June 30.

Including the sale previously mentioned, from April 27-30 there were five transactions that were $300,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– Unit No. 105 Browning, Bemus Bay Condominium, Bemus Point sold for $704,000.

– Unit 4, The Aldine Condominium, Simpson Ave., Chautauqua Institution, sold for $605,000.

– 4788 Lakeside Promenade, Ellery sold for $549,900.

– 7197 Hall Road, Charlotte sold for $370,000.

– 29 East Whallon St., Mayville sold for $364,000.

Overall, from April 27-30, there were 67 transactions. The full list of sales $5,000 or higher is as follows:
