Jamestown Rubber Stamping Company to install solar project

A south county company has been approved for tax breaks for a small solar project on its property. During a recent Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency meeting, board members approved a 15-year Payment In Lieu of Taxes agreement for 0.24 megawatt alternative energy facility to be located at 1611 Foote Avenue, in the town of Kiantone for Jamestown Rubber Stamp Company. CHQ Chamber to Implement a New Project to Boost Business

The CHQ Chamber has won one of eight Springboard grants announced this past week during a reception at the Cutco Theater on JCC’s Cattaraugus County campus. Springboard was launched in March as a regional rapid-prize competition aimed at programs that benefit entrepreneurs or businesses that need funding to expand or bring an idea to market level.
