Hanover special
meeting Tuesday
The town of Hanover will hold a special meeting Tues-day at 5 p.m. in town hall to discuss the host community agreement regarding the Ball Hill Wind Energy Project.
Stockton townwide community Christmas lighting contest
The Town of Stockton Planning Board is holding a townwide community Christmas lighting contest, including the village of Cassadaga. No entry fee is required.
Applications are available at the Stockton and Cassadaga libraries or the Town Clerk’s Office. Return applications by 5 p.m. Monday to the Stockton Town Hall or the Stockton or Cassadaga Library building or book drop off.
Contest judging will take place at 6 p.m. on or after Dec. 22.
Reed’s staff in city
Tom Reed’s staff will hold remote office hours in Dunkirk today. Staff will be located in Dunkirk City Hall, 342 Central Ave., from 2:30 to 4 p.m. to help answer questions and gather feedback.

Perrysburg Town Board meeting Dec. 29
The Perrysburg Town Board will hold a special year-end meeting at the Perrysburg Town Hall, 10460 Peck Hill Road, on Dec. 29 at 5:45 p.m.
Dunkirk Recycling Center closed Saturday afternoon
The Dunkirk Recycling Center on Lucas Avenue will be closed in the afternoon on Saturday. Because of this, hours of operation will be 8 a.m. until noon this Saturday only.
Lunch with Santa Sunday in Cherry Creek
Lunch with Santa will be on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. at the Cherry Creek Fire Hall, 6763 Main St., Cherry Creek. Join Santa for lunch and do a craft with his helpers. All are welcome. This event is sponsored by the Cherry Creek Junior Firefighters and mascots.

to meet Jan. 14
The Pine Valley Central School Board of Education will hold a board re-treat/workshop on Jan. 14 beginning at 8 a.m. All meetings will be held in the Board Conference Room (Room 11) at the elementary school.
