Reservations for New York State Women Inc. Chadwick Bay Chapter dinner due

The New York State Women Inc. Chadwick Bay Chapter is opening their May 8 meeting to the public. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Kosciuszko Club located at 252 Nevins St., Dunkirk.

Jessica McKeever, Chautauqua County Safe Harbour Coordinator and Community Educator from the YWCA of Jamestown, will lead an informative workshop about human trafficking to help educate attendees about what is meant by human trafficking. The workshop will be to educate those attending about what exactly is meant by human trafficking, and some of the misconceptions about who participates in this growing problem. She will also give information about how we can help in our communities.

St. Joseph’s Church to hold spaghetti dinner May 2

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Parish Center, 145 East Main St., Fredonia, will hold a spaghetti and meatballs dinner Wednesday, May 2 from 4 p.m. until sold out. The costs are $8 adults, $5 for children 12 and under. Take outs are available. There will also be theme baskets and cash give-aways.

Quilting in Leon: Make a tote bag

A Quilting in Leon: Make a Tote Bag workshop will take place on May 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The workshop will feature projects quilted and lined with padded handles. School budget hearing slated for May 8

The Fredonia Annual Budget Hearing will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 6 p.m. in the High School Library. The regular Fredonia Board of Education meeting will be held Tuesday, May 8, immediately following the Annual Budget Hearing.

Brocton Central School annual budget meeting set for May 8

Brocton Central School will conduct its annual budget meeting on Tuesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Registration to open for Attic and Sellar Days

Attic and Seller Days will be held by the Fredonia Chamber of Commerce June 1-3.

You may register your sale starting Wednesday at: Pucci’s Carpet One, 112 W. Main St., Fredonia, N.Y. and Sir PrintsAlot, 1 Park Place, Fredonia, N.Y. during normal business hours.

It is $5 to register your sale and be put on the map. Each additional line (with up to 5 words per line), is an additional $1 per line.
