Opera House Holds Backstage Sale

The 1891 Fredonia Opera House will hold a one-day only Backstage Sale on Friday, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

“This will be like a yard sale on our stage,” notes Opera House Executive Director Rick Davis. “We’ve assembled a number of items that have been given to us or that we’ve somehow collected over the years for one purpose or another; and we’re selling them at ‘bargain basement prices.'”

Davis says the items include a variety of housewares, CDs, knick-knacks, collectibles & curiosities, and artwork, among other things. The items will be displayed on the Opera House stage. Proceeds from the sale benefit Opera House programming.

The 1891 Fredonia Opera House is a member-supported not-for-profit organization located in Village Hall in downtown Fredonia. A complete schedule of Opera House events is available at www.fredopera.org.
