Fredonia Central School District High School Pops Concert
The Fredonia Central School District High School Pops Concert will take place Tuesday at 7 p.m. at 425 E. Main St. in the district auditorium. The concert features the Jazz Ensemble, String Orchestra, Chamber Choir, Madrigals Singers and Symphonic Band. The cost is $3 adults, free for students and children.
Forestville OES Towel Bingo Night Friday
Forestville Order of the Eastern Star will hold a towel bingo night on Friday, at the lodge on Main Street in Forestville. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with bingo starting at 7. The costs are $5 admission, $1 each board.
Northern Chautauqua Quilting Companions to meet Tuesday
The next meeting of the Northern Chautauqua Quilting Companions is Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Harvest Chapel. Susie Ticknor will present a program on how to assemble a 2- and 3-inch paper pieced quilt square. Her trunk show will focus on a red and white quilt that is a work in progress.
Jamestown Coin Club meeting and auction set for Tuesday
The Jamestown Coin Club will hold a meeting and auction on Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at BOCES, Route 394, Ashville. Doors open at 6 p.m. The meeting is at 7 p.m., followed by the auction. Admission is free. For more information, call 720-1591.
Designer Handbag Bingo planned to benefit Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care
Designer Handbag Bingo will take place at the Lakewood Legion, 174 Chautauqua Ave. Doors open with a bag preview at 6 p.m. Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. For $30, players receive one set of bingo sheets for 10 games and light snacks . Additional bingo cards are available for $1 each, with wallet raffles between each game, with tickets for that $1 each. There will be a cash bar. Patrons must be 18 or older to attend. Call 338-0033 for tickets. The event benefits Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care.
Chautauqua Opportunities Alzheimer Services
On Tuesday, a program will be offered for those caring for someone with memory loss. Come to a Hospice and Palliative Care Lunch and Learn. Learn about end of life care and symptom management for individuals with dementia. A light lunch will be served. The program will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Chautauqua Opportunities Laughlin Building 402 Chandler St., second floor conference room, Jamestown.
