“Gobble, Gobble Death and Trouble” murder mystery to benefit Ripley Public Library

The Ripley Public Library Players present a murder mystery, “Gobble, Gobble Death and Trouble,” on Saturday, Dec. 1, 6 p.m. at Noble Winery at 8630 Hardscrabble Road, Westfield. Appetizers are provided during intermission as well as a glass of wine from the hosting winery.

Director Theresa Testrake states, “The show is a country-style humorous murder mystery with a Thanksgiving theme. The characters are cartoon-like representations of individuals in a small town as they scheme for influence over the local foodie scene.” Testrake continues, “A murder occurs and Investigator Lawrence Law with the assistance of the audience must solve the case. Who would have done away with the Wizard of White Meat at Thanksgiving?

Proceeds from the shows will benefit the Ripley Public Library Building fund. Tickets are $22 pre-sale, or $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in person at the library or reserved by calling the Ripley Public Library at 736-3913. Tickets are still available and can also be purchased at Noble Winery.
