Prom dress donations accepted for local event

For the fourth year, Diana Scott of Studio D Catering in Jamestown is collecting prom dress donations (along with shoes and purses) for her annual prom dress give-away, which runs from April through the end of May in Jamestown. All high school girls throughout Chautauqua County are invited to visit the pop-up boutique (location to be announced soon) to select their free dress and accessories.

Each year, Scott gives away 500 to 600 dresses, which are donated from people all over the county. In particular, plus-sized dresses are needed, but all prom, cocktail and bridesmaid dresses are accepted. Contact Scott at 640-6035 for more information.
