CASAC to present: “Yes Means Yes – Affirmative Consent”

CASAC presents a workshop “Yes Means Yes Affirmative Consent,” on Tuesday, May 14 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Fluvanna Community Church, Fluvanna Ave. Extension. The presenter is Taylor Winter, Certified Health Educator. Attendees can better understand the concept of affirmative consent and help teach young people about consent. There is no charge to attend. Brocton Central School Board of Education annual meeting planned for May 14

Brocton Central School Board of Education will conduct its annual meeting on Tuesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. The regular meeting of the board will commence immediately following the annual meeting.

Dunkirk Memorial American Legion Unit 62 to meet

Dunkirk Memorial American Legion Unit 62 will be holding Election of 2019-20 Officers at their monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at Post 62, 211 Central Ave. The Installation of officers will follow next month on June 11 at a dinner meeting, venue to be determined. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Chautauqua County Planning Board to gather on Tuesday

The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s Capital Projects Review meeting will be held at 4 p.m. this Tuesday at the Gerace Office Building Room 331, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville, NY 14757. Meetings of the County Planning Board are always open to the public.

Son’s of American Legion Squad 59 sets election, meeting

The Son’s of American Legion Squad 59 will be holding their monthly meeting and election of officers, Tuesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at Post 59, 156 E. Main St., Fredonia.

At the April meeting, a motion for the following nominations to serve as fiscal 2020 officers passed unanimously.

Commander: Rodney Dziduch; 1st Vice Commander: Doug McPherson; 2nd Vice Commander: Dave “Duper” Winchell; Chaplain: David Dengler; Historian: Tom Muldowney; Sargeant-at-Arms: Rich Starks; Finance Manager: Larry Fiorella.

Annual meeting for Pine Grove Cemetery Association Tuesday

The annual meeting for the Pine Grove Cemetery Association will take place Tuesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at the Collins Town Hall, 14093 Mill St., Collins.
