Sheridan Historical Center open house and program

The Sheridan Historical Center will be open to visitors on Monday, June 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. Both the upstairs and first floor collection rooms will be available for viewing. At 7 p.m., Frank Schneider will present a free lecture and PowerPoint presentation entitled “A Look into the Past: Forestville, New York.” Join us for what is sure to be an interesting program about our neighboring hamlet. Tickets will be on sale ($2 each or 3 for $5) for a beautiful full-sized quilt created by a society member. The drawing is scheduled for Election Day with tickets available until then from society members. The society is thankful for the many donors who helped fund the new roof. The proceeds, along with the remaining capital campaign funds, will go toward painting the society building. The Sheridan Historical Center is located at 2702 Route 20 at the corner of Center Road.
