2019 Blodgett-Pierce Family Reunion

The 145th Blodgett and 132nd Pierce Reunion will be held Saturday August 10, 2019 at the Chautauqua Co. Fireman’s Picnic Grounds Stockton, N.Y. with Linda Blodgett as President host. We start at 12 noon with a potluck dinner at 1:00pm. Please bring a dish to pass, table service and you own beverages. Also bring any old family photos and other family history memorabilia to share. County Land Bank to meet Wednesday

Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation Monthly Board meeting to be held at 9 a.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 14 in the Main Conference Room, at the Fredonia Tech Incubator, Dunkirk.

Get ready for the LHS Annual Giant Yard Sale

The Lakeshore Humane Society will hold its Annual Giant Yard Sale Saturday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m and Sunday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Floral Hall at the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds. Looking ahead to this fund-raiser, individuals may want to consider setting aside usable items they no longer need.

Drop-off days for donation items will be Tuesday, Aug. 13 through Thursday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. No large appliances, metal bed springs, magazines, encyclopedias, clothing (except shoes), or electronics (TV’s, computer monitors, towers and printers), please.
