On Thursday, Aug. 15, the blood drive will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Dunkirk Fire Station No. 4, 104 W. Doughty St., Dunkirk. All presenting donors will receive a free t-shirt.

Detective for the Dunkirk Police Department, Mark Mathews said “Being in law enforcement, I help protect my community every day. Hosting a community blood drives help me to ensure that my community is prepared and has a life-saving blood supply for neighbors in need.”

To schedule an appointment to donate blood, contact Unyts at 529-4270, or sign up online at www.unytsblooddonor.org. Walk-ins always welcome!
