Portland Board of Fire Commissioners to meet
The Portland Board of Fire Commissioners will hold a workshop session at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7 for the purpose of preparing the 2020 budget for the district and any other business that may come before the board.
Candidates plan Thursday event
A “Meet & Greet the Candidates Night” for Daniel and Roger Pacos, who are both candidates for local election, will be Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Valentine’s Place 12 Water St., Fredonia. The Pacos brothers are candidates on the ballot for the November general election for the town of Pomfret and the village of Fredonia.
