Reservations deadline today for Farm to Table Community Dinner Sept. 28 in Fredonia

On Saturday, Sept. 28 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., a Farm to Table Community Dinner will be held on Church Street at Village Hall in Fredonia. The event will feature four chefs: Johnny Bouquin, David Winchell, Marissa Griffis, Devon Jones; four courses freshly made with local ingredients from area farms and sources and two desserts by Jessamine Daly-Griffen and Valerie Kneitlinger.

Each course will be paired with beer and wine from EBC West and 21 Brix. Live jazz from the SUNY Fredonia and Fredonia High School ensembles will be featured.

The event is presented by the Fredonia Community Chamber of Commerce, Fredonia Farmers Market and the Fredonia Grange. It is sponsored by the Beaver Club. (In case of rain, the dinner will be held at the Beaver Club.)

Tickets are $50. Reservations are required by today and can be made on the Chamber of Commerce website (www.chautauquachamber.org/fredonia.html).

County Food Policy Council to meet today

The Chautauqua County Food Policy Council will be meeting today, Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. at the Park United Methodist Church’s Jefferson Hall, 25 Maple Avenue, Cassadaga.

Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club Ladies Auxiliary potted mums sale Saturday

The Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club Ladies Auxiliary will be selling potted large mums in the Club Hall, 1 Mullet St., Dunkirk on Sunday, Sept. 22 from noon to 3 p.m. for members and welcome guests. There will be a variety of fall colors to choose from.

Northern Chautauqua County Club Associates to meet Sunday

The regular meeting of the Northern Chautauqua County Club Associates will be held Sunday, Sept. 22 at 10:30 a.m.. at the Sheridan VFW, Route 20 in Sheridan.
