Silver Creek Elementary School’s Holiday Concert, originally scheduled Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m., is rescheduled to Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. due to inclement weather.

4-H helping Forestville pantry

Area 4-H Club members, part of the Fredonia Star Riders, will be raising money for the Forestville Food Pantry on Friday. Members will be out from 4 to 6 p.m. at Cave’s, Evans Bank or Tavern on the Mall. In their first week, more than $210 was raised.

Sheridan Post 6390 VFW Auxiliary bake sale Friday

The Sheridan Memorial Post 6390 VFW Auxiliary will hold a holiday bake sale this Friday, Dec. 13, in the lobby of the post located at 2556 Route 20 in Sheridan. The sale will start at 4:30 and continue through the Friday night fish fry dining hours.

Dunkirk Historical Museum to have live music, treats

Saturday, Dec. 14 from 2-4 p.m. the public is invited to the Dunkirk Historical Museum, 513 Washington Ave., for some live music by The Eukedoodles along with treats and warm beverages.

The 1930s exhibit is now open and their gift shop is full of great items just in time for the holidays. Back by popular demand is their early 1880s maps.
