Fredonia Food Pantry open June 20

On Saturday, June 20, The Fredonia Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon at Fredonia Presbyterian Church at 219 Central Ave. The pantry serves the needs of residents of Fredonia, area code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan, and Laona. All guests receive one or more bags of non-perishable food. Number of bags given out depends on family size.

Annual event to continue utilizing social distancing

STOCKTON — The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association will hold its annual spring tractor pull Saturday, June 20, at the club’s grounds, 4578 Cemetery Road, off of Route 380, Stockton. The garden tractors will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the antique tractors at noon. Weigh-ins for pullers commence at 9 a.m. and the hook-fee for garden tractors is $5 and is $10 for antique tractors. Spectators and parking are free. Dayton Volunteer Fire Company chicken barbecue June 21

DAYTON — The Dayton Volunteer Fire Company, 9512 Route 62, Gowanda, is having its annual Father’s Day Chicken Barbecue on Sunday, June 21, starting at 11:30 a.m. until sold out. It will only be drive-through. Chicken dinners cost $10, half-chicken dinners cost $5. The meal will consist of salt potatoes, macaroni salad, and coleslaw.
