SILVER CREEK — The Village Board will meet on Monday evening. If anyone wants to listen to the meeting, which is closed to the public, they should call 934-3240 for the code, according to village Clerk Tom Postle.

County Planning Board meets Tuesday

WESTFIELD — The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s monthly meeting will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The meeting will be held via videoconferencing, as permitted by the state Open Meetings Law. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church to host chicken barbecue

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will host its annual chicken barbecue Friday, Aug. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. or until sold out at the church, 334 Temple St., Fredonia. Presale tickets are encouraged and can be bought from the church on Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. Take-outs only. The cost is $11.
