City Hall announces rubbish hours

Dunkirk City Hall will be closed on Thursday and Friday for Christmas.

As per the 2020 Curbside Collection Schedule, rubbish in the Friday collection zone (District D) will be picked up on Saturday. Thursday’s collection (District A) remains as is.

Copies of the Curbside Collection Schedule, which are valid until Feb. 28 are still available in the City Clerk’s Office, City Treasurer’s Office and Public Works Department as well as the city’s website www.cityofdunkirk.com.

Prevention Works relocates offices

Prevention Works has moved its Jamestown office into the Phoenix Rising Wellness Studio, 509 N. Main St., Jamestown, and its Dunkirk office into The Resource Center building at 186 Lake Shore Drive, West.
