Trinity United Church of Christ to offer free community takeout meal
GOWANDA — The Trinity United Church of Christ will hold a free community meal, take out only, on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. The church is located at Erie Avenue and Park Street in Gowanda. Participants can drive up East Main to Railroad Avenue and then down Park Street, following the signs. There is also an option to walk up. Recipients are asked to bring their own bag and to wear a mask.
This month’s menu includes meatloaf, potatoes, corn, bread and a cookie. Free will donations are appreciated but not necessary.
The next meal will take place Saturday, April 10.
Virtual recital set for Thursday
Music by female composers that spans the 19th century to the present will be performed by three State University of New York at Fredonia School of Music faculty members – Assistant Professor Leonidas Lagrimas (piano), Adjunct Lecturer Laurie Tramuta (mezzo soprano) and Adjunct Instructor Landon Gray (trumpet) – at a virtual recital on Thursday, March 11, at 8 p.m.
