The Outpour Project to hold food giveaways in April

The Outpour Project, located at 61 W. Fourth St., Dunkirk, has been approved for food giveaways for the month of April and will be doing a large giveaway on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.

“We have just got word that we got approved for food for all of April, however we will be giving a huge giveaway on April 3,” Pastor Erika Lopez said. “We ask that people come to drive through with children as we will have someone in costume giving out gifts, toys and candy and also that day we will be giving out food.”

The organization will also be doing a giveaway of 24 ham dinners as well, and everyone in the drive-through will get a ticket to enter the drawing. At around 1 p.m. they will pick out 24 tickets for the dinners.

In addition to the giveaway they are also doing a live crucifixion walk and resurrection starting at 6 p.m. on Friday at CVS on Main Street walking back to The Outpour Project. Good Friday services are set for 7 p.m. that evening and Easter services will be Sunday at 11 a.m.
