Gowanda Moose Sets holiday craft show

GOWANDA — The Gowanda Moose Lodge 1382, 201 Aldrich St., will hold a holiday vendor and craft show on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It includes handmade crafts, towels, jewelry, pottery, candles, candy, blankets, bibs, wood items, quilted items, knitted towels, baked goods, Tupperware, Raggedy Ann, Color Street, 31, wreaths, crocheted items, cups and glasses, raffles and much more. Food will be available.

Chapter meeting is Sunday

Members of Chapter 459, Vietnam Veterans of America, will meet at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at the John T. Murray VFW Post 1017, 113 Deer St.

Ethics Board meets Nov. 17

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Ethics Board will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, in room 149 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. Current members of the board are John Hamels, Diane Hannum, John Marengo, David Rowe, and Mary Kay Szwejbka. Individuals attending the meeting will be required to wear a face mask within the security screening area of the building and if they are not vaccinated for COVID-19.

Steel Coffee Club meeting

The Roblin Steel Coffee Club will meet at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Demetri’s in Dunkirk.

Turkey bingo set for Saturday

The Sons of the American Legion, Squad 59, will be holding a Turkey Bingo fundraiser, on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Post 59, 156 E. Main St., Fredonia. The evening will consist of 10 rounds of turkey bingo, a 20-pound turkey with all the fixings raffle and a 50-50 raffle with proceeds to benefit veterans causes.

Commander Rodney Dziduch will be calling the numbers with humorous commentary. Members and guests welcome.

Barker Library sets annual meeting

The annual meeting of the Friends of Barker Library will be held in the Steele Room at 7 Day St. in Fredonia on Friday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. All members and everyone from the community are invited to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn about “The Friends” and their impact on the success of the library and meet the library’s new director, Graham Tedesco-Blair.

Due to COVID concerns masks are required.

Bills Boosters meet Sunday for game

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills at New York Jets game on Sunday at the Dunkirk Falcon Club, 80 E. Benton St., Dunkirk. Game time is 1 p.m. Baked ham will be provided at halftime. Members may bring a dish to pass.
