Outreach event planned in Portland

PORTLAND — A community outreach event will take place in Portland Community Park on Saturday, Aug. 27. The Portland Congregational Church will be distributing free lunch, free school supplies, all of which have been collected and donated at many different drop off locations. In additon, there will be games and activities. The event is slated from 1 to 4 p.m.

Legion Auxiliary sets first meeting

The Chautauqua County American Legion Auxiliary first monthly meeting for 2022-23 will be at the Samuel L. Derby Post 556 in Frewsburg on Thursday, September 8 at 7 p.m. Please note the new time change. All Auxiliary members are encouraged to attend to plan for a successful year ahead.
