Al-Anon meeting set for tonight

Steps to Serenity Al-Anon meeting will be held today from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Meetings are at Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church, Matteson Street, Fredonia. For further information, call 716-969-2395.

Bills Boosters gather Sunday

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens game on Sunday at the Moniuszko Club, 262 Lake Shore Drive, Dunkirk. Pulled pork sandwiches will be provided at halftime. Members may bring a dish to pass. New members are always welcome.

Cassadaga legion plans Oktoberfest

CASSADAGA — The Cassadaga Legion, Auxiliary, and Sons are hosting an Oktoberfest, Sunday at the post. Open to the public, there will be the Whiz Whip food truck serving from 3 to 6 p.m. It will feature Oktoberfest favorites as well as burger, dogs and more. Music will be by Family Tradition from 4 to 7 p.m. with raffles, and fun for all.

Sons of Revolution meets Oct. 8

The Chautauqua Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 12:30 pm. The meeting will be at the Stockton Hotel and members will order lunch from the menu. The S.A.R. is a national group of men who trace their ancestry to a patriot in the War of Independence. Meetings are open to all interested in joining or just finding out more about the organization. Spouses are invited as well. WESTFIELD — Book clubs meeting in October at the Patterson Library in Westfield include: Best Sellers at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4 discussing “The Personal Librarian” by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray; the Literary Circle at 10 a.m. Oct. 8 discussing “Go Tell It on the Mountain” by James Baldwin; the Mystery Book Club: at 4 p.m. Oct. 19 discussing “Open Season” by C.J. Box; and the Wanderlust group meeting at 4 p.m. Oct. 27 discussing “Wide Sargasso Sea” by Jean Rhys.
