Kindergarten registration announced

GOWANDA — Registration for prekindergarten and kindergarten for the 2023-24 academic year at Gowanda Elementary School begins Tuesday, Jan. 17. If you have a student to enroll, please call Central Registration at 716-532-3325, ext. 6018. The deadline for registration is Monday, Feb. 27, in order to schedule screening appointments.

Working Families Party seeks candidates

Candidates who are looking to receive the endorsement of the Working Families Party must apply for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties must apply at the website at https://workingfamilies.org/state/new-york/ . Follow the link and complete the appropriate candidate questionnaire. The party also is looking for people who share its ideals to help support and work for our party and our candidates.
