Library plans open discussion

BROCTON — The Ahira Hall Memorial Library in Brocton will be hosting “Community Conversations: Building a Safe and Drug Free Community” on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Staff from Hope Chautauqua and Prevention Works will be providing information on safe use, safe storage and safe disposal of medication. SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library invites the public to a special family program on Thursday presented by local author Kathleen Lombardo. Lombardo will read her children’s picture book, “The Three Chihuahuas Find a Home,” and answer questions from the audience about her experience writing and publishing the book. The book is charming story about friendship and dreams coming true inspired by the little dogs the author rescued. A special guest appearance by the chihuahuas featured in the book will follow the program.
