CIAO holds lunch,
plans ahead
SILVER CREEK — Recently, the Chautauqua Italian American Organization held a luncheon at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Chairwomen Beverly Pagano, Jane Russo and Marriane Serio did an excellent job in organizing, collecting gift baskets and hosting.
Thirty-seven members including many new members joined together to enjoy great food and socialization. Members provided many of their favorite dishes to share, beef on weck was provided by the Club, and desserts fulfilled everyone’s sweet tooth.
A short meeting to inform members as to the upcoming activities, especially our annual meeting and picnic that will be held in Silver Creek Ballpark Pavilion instead of Russel Joy Park in Fredonia and a possible trip to attend the San Gennaro festival in New York City in September. All members will be notified of upcoming events by email or through articles in the OBSERVER.
