Sheridan
Concert set for Wednesday
Extend your Independence one more day with a musical celebration of the patriotic, popular, and traditional, performed by the Cassadaga Area Community Band, under the direction of Daryl Warren, musical director of the Salamanca School band. Band members volunteer and come from many towns in the surrounding area and play outdoor concerts for several communities during the summer months.
On Wednesday, July 5, the band will be hosted by the town of Sheridan, on the grounds of the town complex at 2775 Rt 20 in the Town of Sheridan.
The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m., weather permitting. A bake sale and refreshments will be available, and proceeds will benefit the Sheridan Historical Society and the Sheridan VFW Auxiliary.
The concert is free, everyone is invited.
Bring a lawn chair, relax and enjoy music, food, and community spirit.

School Class of 1973 reunion set
The Brocton Central School Class of 1973 is planning a reunion event at 135 Berry Road, Fredonia on Friday, July 7. Cassadaga Legion
cancels July
meeting
The Cassadaga American Legion Auxiliary will not have meeting in July. The next meeting will be Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m., in the Legion Hall. It will be the summer get-together with a dish-to-share dinner, and a short meeting after.
