Car show set for Saturday

The Craig M. Sutton Sr. Memorial Car Show will be Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at American Legion Post 62, 211 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Enter at back parking lot off Eagle Street. There is a $5 registration entry fee with proceeds to benefit the American Legion. Music provided by Chautauqua Audio Works. Food and drinks, door prizes, basket raffles, 50-50 raffle. Free admission to the public.

Valley Historical Society meets Tuesday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The August meeting of the Valley Historical Society will be Tuesday at the Sinclairville ballpark. This will be the annual picnic meeting at 6 p.m.

All attendees are asked to bring a dish of food to pass as well as their own table service and beverage. The program will be treasure trove. All members are asked to bring an old item of interest and talk about it to the group.

Anyone interested in attending may come.

Class of 1968 plan reunion events

Members of the 1968 Classes from Dunkirk and Mindszenty High Schools will combine to celebrate their 55th Reunion on Friday, Aug. 4 from 6 to 10 p.m. The event will be at the American Legion Post 62, 211 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Attendees will enjoy a social hour followed by a catered dinner prepared by Pat Tripp.
