Walk 4 Paws is Sept. 16

The Chautauqua County Humane Society (CCHS) announces the return of the Walk 4 Paws presented by Happy Hounds Hotel & Day Spa, Saturday, Sept. 16 at Panzarella Island Park in Jamestown.

Registration will start at 10 a.m. and the Walk will begin at 11. CCHS Director of Fundraising and Communication Brian Papalia said, “We have a revamped Walk 4 Paws with a brand-new course and fun activities for people and their pets. We encourage everyone to get to Chqhumane.org to register. Registration is $25 per person and includes a pet bandana and one ticket to participate in each of our newly added activities. We invite folks to fundraise on behalf of the animals that rely on CCHS, and they will see options for that as they register. There will be a recognition at the walk for our top fundraisers.”

Activities at the Walk 4 Paws are planned to include an art station for pets to create their own masterpiece, a photo booth with local professional photographers, a scavenger hunt, and of course a scenic walk along the Chadakoin River.

The agency notes the support of Media One Group Radio, Shults Auto Group, Greater Chautauqua Federal Credit Union, Supportive Divorce Solutions, Fessenden Laumer & DeAngelo PLLC, and Chautauqua Mall.

The Chautauqua County Humane Society is a 501c3 not for profit organization serving Chautauqua County since 1905. CCHS’s mission is “To improve and save lives through compassionate care, advocacy for animals and commitment to the community.”
