CIAO planning limonchello
demonstration
Mark your calendars for Monday, Oct. 9 when the Chautauqua Italian American Organization is hosting a dinner and limonchello making demonstration. Dinner will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel beginning at 5:30. The three-course meal will be “catered” and include an appetizer, main course and dessert–all Italian type foods. Dinner will be served family style. The cost will $10 per person and limited to CIAO members. Please RSVP to Nance Ortolano at nortolano@stny.rr.com, or Sally Crisanti at sallycrisanti@gmail.com by Oct. 1. Your valid reservation really helps in food planning. Since it is an Italian meal, we want to be sure to have enough!
Following dinner will be a lemoncello making demonstration — and maybe even a little sampling. This will be early enough in the season, should anyone wish to make the Italian liquor treat to give as Christmas gifts to family and friends.
