The Al Tech/Dunkirk Specialty Steel Retirees will meet Saturday, Dec. 2 at 8:30 a.m. at Demitri’s Restaurant, Lake Shore Drive West in Dunkirk. All retirees are invited to attend.

New pet picture date set for Santa

The Lakeshore Humane Society’s “Picture Your Pet With Santa” fundraiser will be Sunday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lakeshore Humane Society Adoption Center, 431 E. Chestnut St. in Dunkirk. (This event has been rescheduled from its original date.)

Pets, children, and/or family photos with Santa Claus will be taken by a photographer and available for purchase to benefit the Lakeshore Humane Society. The cost is $15 for one pose; $20 for three poses. The digital photo(s) will be sent via email.

Payments are accepted in the form of cash or check only. Pets must be vaccinated, friendly and on a leash or in a carrier. Multiple pets and children are welcome. (No sick, aggressive, or exotic animals can be accommodated).

Also, come shop at the “Cats Meow” boutique in the LHS Adoption Center lobby. It is a great source for gifts.

Bills Booster Club gathers Sunday

The Southern Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills vs. Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday at the Moniuszko Club. Meatloaf will be provided at halftime. Members may bring a dish to pass. Game time is 4:25 p.m.

STOCKTON – The town will be holding the monthly meeting on Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Stockton Town Hall instead of Dec. 12. The year-end meeting will be on Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Stockton Town Hall.
