Industrial Water District meets

There will be a meeting of the Board of Directors for the North County Industrial Water District on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Sewer District meeting immediately following at the Town of Dunkirk Town Hall, 4737 Willow Road, Dunkirk. The meeting is open to the public.

The Roblin Steel Coffee Club will meet at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at Demetri’s in Dunkirk.

Food pantry open Dec. 16

On Saturday, Dec. 16, The Fredonia Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon at Fredonia Presbyterian Church at 219 Central Ave. The pantry serves the needs of residents of Fredonia, ZIP code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan, and Laona. All guests receive one or more bags of non-perishable food. Number of bags given out depends on family size.

Library has

greeting card event

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Sinclairville Free Library invites residents to visit the library at 15 Main St. at 5:30 p.m. Thursday to make holiday greeting cards. This program is for ages 10 and up. A fee of $5 will cover the cost of all materials to create three different cards with instruction provided by Amanda Verlini.

Parks Commission meets Thursday

The Chautauqua County Parks Commission will hold its last monthly meeting of 2023 on Thursday at the Jamestown Airport at 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Cannabis Advisory Team to meet

in Fredonia

The Fredonia Cannabis Advisory Team will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 13 in Fredonia Village Hall, second floor meeting room at 6 p.m. The team will meet with a party considering opening a growers showcase in the village, as well as discuss a dispensary license request received from the office of Cannabis Management. The public is invited to attend the meeting.
